Tommaso Ciampa Speaks About Evolving His Character In AEW: “There’s Some Really Cool Plans In The Works”

Ciampa has plans to keep his presentation fresh.

It was in late January that Tommaso Ciampa debuted for All Elite Wrestling after opting to let his WWE contract expire.

In his first match with the company, Ciampa captured the TNT Championship and had an 11-day reign with the belt before dropping it to Kyle Fletcher.

While doing a virtual signing for K & S WrestleFest, Ciampa shared that he plans to evolve his character in AEW. He described those plans as ‘cool’ and said people have to be patient. He added that he hopes to finish his career in AEW.

“So far, I like it a lot. I love the start. There’s a lot of fun things I have in the works and ways to evolve the character and just gotta be patient (and) let that all play out but, we’re on to some good stuff. There’s some really cool plans in the works.

I’m hoping that I get to ride into the sunset with AEW to be honest with you. I really like it there. They treat my family extremely well, and my little one is having a blast…”

Ciampa will be featured on the March 22nd AEW Collision: Slam Dunk Sunday in a singles match against Lio Rush.
