IMPACT Victory Road was not the end of the road for Tommy Dreamer.
After agreeing to put his career on the line at IMPACT Victory Road against Kenny King in a match for the IMPACT Digital Media Championship, Tommy Dreamer was able to defeat Kenny King and capture his first IMPACT Wrestling championship in front of his family and friends in White Plains, New York.
Dreamer had some help from Heath as Heath delivered Sweetness to Kenny King while the referee had his back turned as he was ejecting Sheldon Jean from ringside. Tommy Dreamer was able to follow up and delivered a DDT to Kenny for the victory.

This is Tommy Dreamer's first singles championship from a major promotion since winning the ECW Championship in 2009. King was the champion for 56 days after capturing the title at IMPACT Slammiversary..
Tommy Dreamer was dressed up to honor Terry Funk, his mentor who passed away in late August 2023.
