In the documentary, Ric Flair was accused of sexual assault by flight attendant Heidi Doyle. Tommy Dreamer, who participated in the documentary, chalked up Flair's actions to "The Nature Boy being The Nature Boy."

Dreamer was suspended by IMPACT Wrestling for his comments on the episode.

Dreamer gave the following statement on Sunday afternoon:

"Regarding my comments made on Dark Side of the Ring

It was never my intention to offend, hurt or victim shame anyone

I understand my comments were insensitive and could trigger emotions in someone's own personal past.

I do not condone sexual misconduct of any kind.

I apologize to anyone I offended.

From the bottom of my heart

I am so sorry."

It is unknown when Dreamer will return to IMPACT in any capacity.

Fightful will continue to update fans on the story as more is known.
