Tomohiro Ishii Injured, Pulled From AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door

Tomohiro Ishii will not make it to Forbidden Door.

New Japan Pro Wrestling announced that Tomohiro Ishii suffered a left knee injury and will not be able to compete at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 26. He was scheduled to challenge for the vacant AEW All-Atlantic Championship in a four-way bout against Malakai Black, Pac, and Miro.

Clark Connors, who Ishii defeated in the finals of the qualifying round in the NJPW portion of the AEW All-Atlantic Title tournament, will take his place.

Tomohiro Ishii, who was scheduled to compete on June 26 at AEWxNJPW Presents Forbidden Door, has sustained a left knee injury and is not medically cleared to compete.

After a hard fought qualifying match in Korakuen Hall on June 21, Clark Connors will take Ishii’s place in the All-Atlantic Championship four way at Forbidden Door. The card change is as follows
