Tony D'Angelo On Producer Mark's Injury: It Was An Unfortunate Accident That He Fell Down The Stairs

Tony D'Angelo and Producer Mark are good pals.

On the November 2 episode of NXT 2.0, Tony D'Angelo appeared on Lashing Out with Lash Legend to address allegations that he kidnapped her producer, Mark two weeks earlier. Tony then brought out Mark and said that it was all a misunderstanding and that they have no issues with each other. He even urged Mark to say 'hi' to his family after Tony described them, and Mark's home, with great detail.

The NXT Superstar appeared on the most recent edition of WWE's The Bump and commented on the situation one more time, saying the following:

"Look, me and Mark are good friends. All this stuff about me kidnapping him and, you know, it was an unfortunate accident that he fell down the stairs so his arm was a little messed up, but me and him, we're pals. He was just a little nervous because he's on TV. He's usually behind the scenes. I had to give him a little nudge so he didn't embarrass himself. That's all, but we're good."

Later on in the interview, Tony was asked about making friends in NXT and says that he currently only has business associates, but is a fan of Bron Breakker and hopes they can cross paths in the future. He was also asked about Duke Hudson's Poker Room and if he would bankroll the endeavour after losing a large sum of money to Cameron Grimes last week.

"Well," said D'Angelo, "I try to be as approachable as possible, but I feel a little disrespected that I wasn't invited to this game. So, me and Duke might have to have a few words, but, you know, we'll see. That's for another time."
