Trios Titles could be coming soon to AEW.
AEW has built many stables on its Dynamite program over the last 14 months and now stakes could soon be added to the faction wars.
Speaking on an AEW Media call, President Tony Khan was asked about the possibility of adding Trios Titles to the mix.
"It won't be in 2020. It will be, if it happens, it will most likely be in 2021. I've been seriously thinking about it. There's a lot of momentum for it and we have a lot of great trios teams. I would like to get through 2020, into Beach Break, and towards Revolution, but I definitely think it's something on my agenda and something I've been talking about for a long time and thinking about it," he said.
AEW has Death Triangle, Team Taz, Eddie Kingston's Friends, Nightmare Family, The Elite, Best Friends, Dark Order, and more factions who could field a trios team for the eventual titles.
As of now, it is unknown when AEW would introduce the new titles.
