Big numbers for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
Tony Khan announced that AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2023 is the biggest live gate in AEW history at about $1.2 million. Khan also stated that the event is one of the top three biggest live gates in the history of pro wrestling in Canada.
The event was held at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. According to WrestleTix, over 13,500 tickets were distributed for the event.

This AEW record could stand until AEW All In at Wembley Stadium on August 27, which is already over an $8 million gate according to Tony Khan.
