Caitlin Clark is taking the world of women's basketball by storm. She was a heavy focus of the March Madness Tournament and she was the number one overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft. The Des Moines native is getting lots of love and attention from all those who follow sports.
One such individual is AEW President Tony Khan and ahead of the June 12 AEW Dynamite, which is emanating from Des Moines, Khan spoke with Local 5 News' Sports Director Reina Garcia who asked if he was a fan of the Indiana Fever player.
"Yeah, I'm a fan. I think what she's done has been amazing. She's a really great player. She is a great shooter. She's great at pretty much every aspect of basketball. It seems like she's a great player and super successful player and obviously brought a lot of attention to Iowa, the school, and to the sport. I think she's been a huge star for the game."
