Tony Khan Comments On USA Network Monitor Being Shown Inside Of AEW Production Truck

Tony Khan says he isn’t monitoring the USA Network while Dynamite is in production.

Yesterday on Twitter, AEW posted a picture of the inside of the AEW production truck which featured a Monitor for the USA network, the home of NXT on Wednesday nights when they go head-to-head with AEW Dynamite.

When asked about this by Fightful's Jeremy Lambert in a media scrum following the Full Gear pay-per-view last night, Tony Khan said that he isn't aware of anything like that in the production truck as he has his focus on his station at the Gorilla Position which doesn't have a USA Network monitor.

"Yeah, that's not my [position.] I don't know what they're watching in the truck. I'm stuck at the Gorilla Position. We don't have a TV that would even have cable on it. We have the feed of our own show. And then I have like eight to ten cameras that like we choose from." he stated. "So, yeah, I don't know what they could be [watching], I think sometimes they have, like football [on] between stuff going on during the day, but during the show, I don't know what they are [watching]."

Tony would then clarify that he only goes out to the truck early in the day for production work, well before any shows go on-air.

"I've never seen a monitor on where I am. Yeah. I can't speak to the truck. I go out in the truck like before the show for VTRs. But that would be like long before anybody else, that's like before the sun goes down."
