Tony Khan Discusses Securing Rights For Hangman Adam Page To Use Red Dead Redemption Track: “That Was A Race Against Time”
Khan said it was a race against time to get it done.
The main event of AEW’s 2025 Full Gear pay-per-view saw Hangman Adam Page defend the AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe in a Steel Cage match.
Page did not come out to his usual theme song. He entered to ‘American Venom,’ which is an instrumental track from the ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ video game.
At the Full Gear post-show media scrum, AEW President Tony Khan spoke about securing the rights to the song and said it was a ‘race against time’ to get that done.
“I was really glad we got that license done. That was a race against time. Great work, guys. Got it done. Great to the team. Thanks, guys, and very grateful.”
Hangman Adam Page is no longer AEW World Champion. HOOK hit him with the title belt and realigned himself with The Opps (Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata & Powerhouse Hobbs). Joe is now a two-time AEW World Champion.
