Tony Khan Wants To Sign More Wrestlers To Dual Contracts With Partnering Promotions

Tony Khan wants more dual contracts in wrestling.
As many fans know, Hechicero is currently under a dual contract with both AEW and CMLL. Konosuke Takeshita has a upper hand on the ‘Mad Scientist’, as he is currently signed to a triple contract with AEW, NJPW, and DDT Pro Wrestling.
Speaking with Case Lowe of Q101 for a new interview, Khan noted that there will be more attempts to get wrestlers under dual contracts, as they are “very beneficial” to AEW.
“Yes, there will be more attempts to do things like that which are very beneficial to us. Hechicero has been involved in great matches in multiple promotions this year, whether it’s working for AEW, CMLL, and ROH, where he’s been a top challenger for the championship. Hechicero is a great example of that and I would like to do more things like that.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Tony Khan confirmed that Grand Slam Mexico will return in 2026. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
