Tony Khan Explains Decision To Start AEW Pay-Per-Views One Hour Earlier
Tony Khan is looking out for the fans.
At the tail end of June, Tony Khan made headlines when he announced that the Redemption pay-per-view would start at 7PM ET instead of 8PM ET. This decision was met with praise, as many fans were complaining about the length of the company’s pay-per-view events and how they would sometimes even extend past midnight.
Speaking with ROAR Around The Ring for a new interview, Khan explained the mindset behind his decision.
“My goal for the last one was if I start an hour earlier, I’m 100% sure I’ll be done before midnight eastern and I was. So, I thought that was great. If we’re done before midnight eastern, if we’re 9PM on the west coast, I think that’s great.”
Due to it being held in London, AEW All In will start at 1PM ET. Looking at the NOW Arena website, it appears that the All Out pay-per-view will also start at 7PM ET.
