Stokely Hathaway made Tony Khan's day.
As he is one to do, Stokely Hathaway shared a fake tweet from Mariah Carey on June 4 in which she asked to see him versus Okada at Forbidden Door.
AEW President Tony Khan saw the tweet and posted a message of his own online, praising AEW's newest manager. He said that he first saw Hathaway doing this while under the employment of WWE, but still begrudgingly acknowledged it as amazing content. The fact that they'll now focus on AEW and be part of canon has just sunk in for Khan and made his day.
It really just sunk in for me for the first time that @Malcolmvelli’s infamous counterfeit tweets will focus on @AEW from now on. They’ve gone from something I begrudgingly saw as amazing content from a brilliant manager working for the enemy into 2022 AEW canon. This made my day— Tony Khan (@TonyKhan) June 4, 2022
Stokely was announced as All Elite last weekend when he appeared at Double or Nothing as Jade Cargill's new manager. The TBS Champion currently has the recently signed Athena knocking at her door for a title opportunity.
Jade commented after Double or Nothing that Stokely is the best talker in the game and that Tony Khan made the best decision hiring him. Click here to read more.
