Tony Khan: HonorClub Has 12,000 Subscribers

Tony Khan comments on the subscription numbers for HonorClub.

Khan acquired Ring of Honor, which went on hiatus after ROH Final Battle 2021, in March 2022. The company held three pay-per-views throughout 2022, but it did not have a weekly show. Khan repeatedly expressed his intent to bring the weekly program back. After ROH Final Battle 2022, Khan announced that ROH's weekly show would return, and it would air on the relaunched HonorClub streaming service. ROH had previously launched HonorClub in 2018 and it was the streaming platform for many ROH events, along with the company's extensive library.

At the AEW Revolution post-show media scrum, Khan discussed the challenge of having a deep roster when the company only has three hours of television between AEW Dynamite and Rampage. He highlighted the return of ROH's weekly show on March 2. He stated that, as of March 5, HonorClub had 12,000 subscribers, and he shared his belief that it was "as good" of a number that the streaming service has ever had. He noted that this success showed that the fans were engaging with the new ROH. Khan also stated that ROH TV could be a good place to give AEW stars a chance to be featured in a storyline.

Previous ROH HonorClub subscription numbers have not been publicly shared. In a previous interview in April 2021, Joe Koff, the ROH COO at the time, noted that subscription numbers fluctuated, and they decreased during the COVID-19 pandemic.
