Tony Khan Insisted The Butcher And The Blade Remain On The Roster Page For AEW After They Became Free Agents

The Butcher and The Blade made their All Elite Wrestling debut in December 2019. Over the next few years, the duo would go on to wrestle numerous tag team matches in the company. Their last televised match in AEW took place in January 2024 on an episode of AEW Rampage.
Earlier in June, Fightful Select had reported that the duo had become free agents after their AEW contracts expired. Fightful Select has provided more information regarding their exit, noting that Tony Khan insisted that these two remain on AEW’s roster page.
