Tony Khan Isn’t Sure About The Contract Status of Ilja Dragunov, Calls Him A ‘Tremendous Wrestler’
Ilja Dragunov has reportedly left WWE after his contract expired.
Dragunov has not wrestled since April after holding the WWE United States Championship in 2025.
At the Death Before Dishonor press conference, Tony Khan was asked whether anyone was interested in Ilja Dragunov.
“I’m not sure about the contractual status, but that’s a tremendous, tremendous professional wrestler, absolutely. I don’t know exactly what the contractual status is of people that don’t work here, I can’t keep track of those things and there is no way for me to know that, but one thing I do is that’s a great wrestler,” he said.
Along with holding the US Title, Dragunov is a former NXT UK and NXT Champion.
