On June 18, AEW ventured to Mexico for AEW Grand Slam Mexico at Arena Mexico.
The event was well received by fans, and scored the biggest cable viewing audience for AEW Dynamite since July 2024.
Speaking on the Battleground podcast, Khan commented on the show and a potential return.
"We went into a new market working with great partners. The first AEW show we've ever done in Mexico. It was a great event. The wrestling was awesome, the partnership is awesome. There is definitely a possibility of doing this again. It's almost a virtual certainty that we're going to have a return to Mexico. We have a great relationship with CMLL. They own and operate this cathedral of wrestling, Arena Mexico," he said.
He noted that he was looking forward to another AEW Grand Slam Mexico event.
AEW has a partnership with CMLL that sees talent appearing on both programs.
