Tony Khan Jokes He Got IMPACT To Move Rebellion To Sunday, Says He Will Be In Attendance

IMPACT is set to hold its Rebellion event on Sunday, April 25. The event will be headlined by a title vs. title bout as the AEW World Champion Kenny Omega battles IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann.

Ever since Don Callis helped Omega win the AEW World Title in December, Khan has made weekly appearances on IMPACT television. And before one of the biggest matches in IMPACT and AEW history, Khan will be there to make sure there is no funny business.

"I'm going to be coming up to Nashville to maintain order next weekend at [IMPACT Rebellion], that you moved at my suggestion [Laughs]. I'm going to go to UFC with my good friend Dana and then I'll come to [Rebellion] and make sure that no funny business goes on in this title match. I'm going to bring my own referee, Aubrey (Edwards)," Khan told Busted Open Radio.

IMPACT Rebellion was originally scheduled for Saturday, April 24 before moving to Sunday.

UFC 261, which is headlined by Kamura Usman vs. Jorge Masvidal is scheduled for April 24, is the event referenced by Khan.
