Recently, Moxley, who performed in WWE as Dean Ambrose, noted that in his last conversation with Vince McMahon, McMahon admitted that WWE took Moxley for granted.

Tony Khan was recently afforded the opportunity to respond to that claim and touted John Moxley as one of the best wrestlers in the world and one of the most influential wrestlers in the short history of All Elite Wrestling.

"Well, I think it's one thing to say that Jon Moxley is one of the greatest wrestlers in the world and frankly, I think for AEW, it's another thing for us that's very true. Jon Moxley is one of the most important people ever in AEW and from the very beginning, he's been one of our top stars," Tony said while speaking to Josh Martinez on the Superstar Crossover podcast.

For all that Jon Moxley has done for All Elite Wrestling, it can be argued that he belongs on the short list of candidates for the Mount Rushmore of AEW wrestlers. Elsewhere on this podcast, Tony Khan revealed which four wrestlers are on his personal Mount Rushmore of professional wrestling. Fans can read more here.

Moxley was recently injured in a match where he was defending and ultimately lost the AEW International Title against Rey Fenix. Fans can get the latest information on Jon Moxley on Fightful Select.
