Tony Khan: Private Party Winning AEW Tag Team Titles Was Over Five Years In The Making

Tony Khan says it was an incredible night.

At AEW Fright Night Dynamite, Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen) defeated the Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) to win the AEW World Tag Team Championship. In doing so, they won their first titles in AEW.

Tony Khan took to Twitter/X and shared a picture with the new champions. In the post, Khan congratulated them and said that their victory was over five years in the making. He also called their match with the Young Bucks a classic AEW Dynamite match.

Kassidy and Quen have been with AEW since 2019. Early on, they scored a major win against the Young Bucks on the October 9th, 2019 episode of AEW Dynamite. However, their quest to win the titles was fruitless until Fright Night Dynamite.
