Tony Khan Privately Addressing Concerns Over MJF Angle According To Duval School Board Candidate

Tony Khan is reportedly addressing concerns over MJF angle in a private manner.

On Tuesday's AEW Dynamite, Juice Robinson said he had a roll of quarters with MJF's name on it and pulled out a roll of quarters that were labeled for the AEW Champion.

The angle was heavily criticized online for playing into antisemitism and many questioned the timing of the angle with the ongoing Israeli–Palestinian conflict.

Duval School Board Dist. 7 Candidate Travis Akers tweeted, "We were watching @AEW when this happened live last night. It was tasteless and a horrible decision by @TonyKhan to pursue an angle woven with anti-Semitism. We changed the channel. AEW lost me as a fan with this one, which sucks because I really enjoyed their product."

Khan reached out to Akers regarding his critique but did not address Akers' concerns over the angle.

However, Akers told Awful Announcing, “Yes, Tony reached out via DM. However, we are having an on-going conversation now regarding the angle and my concerns about the anti-Semitic content.”

Khan has been tweeting throughout the week, but has not addressed the MJF angle publicly.

MJF has addressed criticisms of the angle multiple times. You can find his comments on the manner by clicking here.
