Tony Khan Says AEW Running SoFi Stadium Is ‘Not A Crazy Thought’ And Is Something He’s Thought About

Tony Khan doesn’t think it’s a crazy thought that AEW could run SoFi Stadium.

AEW has successfully run stadium shows in the past, packing Wembley Stadium with over 72,000 fans in 2023. AEW All In 2025 took place at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX with over 21,000 fans in attendance.

The past two years, AEW Revolution has been held at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. Revolution 2026 sold out with over 12,000 fans in attendance.

Speaking at the Revolution press conference, Tony Khan was asked about the possibility of AEW running SoFi Stadium.

“You think? You think it’s a good idea? You like the SoFi idea? Could be interesting. It’s interesting. I’ve thought about it before. I think it’s interesting. It’s a very interesting idea. It’s not crazy at all. I don’t think that’s a crazy thought. When you saw all the star power, it gets your brain firing off and it makes you think. There were so many great wrestlers wrestling tonight, so many returns, surprises, the rivals, and moments. It’s not crazy,” said Khan.

SoFi Stadium is located in Inglewood, CA and holds 70,000 fans. The stadium hosted WrestleMania 39, which drew 67,303 fans for night one and 67,553 fans for night two.
