Tony Khan Says AEW Will Honor Dennis Condrey In Alabama

Dennis Condrey to be honored by AEW.

Appearing on WAAY-31 Sports, AEW President Tony Khan was asked about the promotion honoring the late Dennis Condrey when AEW heads to Huntsville, Alabama on May 30.

Khan said that AEW would “absolutely” honor Condrey.

“The memory of Dennis Condry is very important to us. I had met Dennis Condry, and I’m a huge fan of Dennis Condry,” he said.

Condrey passed away in Huntsville in March at the age of 74. He was a founding member of the original Midnight Express with Bobby Eaton and their manager Jim Cornette.

FTR and CM Punk paid tribute to Condrey in August 2023 after an episode of AEW Collision, with Condrey appearing live in the ring.
