Tony Khan Says AEW Women’s World Tag Team Titles Can Be Defended In Other Promotions

The tournament to crown the first-ever AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions is coming to a close. Ahead of the 12/3 Dynamite, which will see the continuation of the tournament, AEW President Tony Khan stopped by the Battleground Podcast.

When asked about the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Titles, Khan mentioned that the titles can be defended in other promotions.

“Absolutely. We would defend those Women’s Tag Team Titles from AEW in any promotion, and whoever wins this tournament, they’re gonna be great representatives.”

‘Timeless’ Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa will face Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir in a Hardcore Holiday Deathmatch on Dynamite to determine who moves on to the finals to face Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron.
