Tony Khan Says Both AEW World & TNT Champions Will Be Ranked Above Men's Singles Top Five Rankings

With the introduction of the TNT Title and a new champion being crowned this weekend at Double Or Nothing, there will be a slight change in how AEW's official rankings will be moving forward.

Responding to a fan question on Twitter, AEW President Tony Khan said moving forward, both the AEW World Champion and TNT Champion will be ranked above the top five in the male singles division. This means that there won't be a second set of rankings to include the TNT Title.

There has been a tournament to crown the inaugural TNT Champion that has been running on Dynamite in recent weeks. Both Cody and Lance Archer have won their way to the finals, which will take place at the Double Or Nothing pay-per-view taking place on May 23.

Jon Moxley, the current AEW World Champion, will defend his title against Brodie Lee at the event as well. In addition, a ladder match where the winner will get a future title match will also take place at Double Or Nothing.

Fightful will have live coverage of Double Or Nothing.
