Tony Khan Says He Would Have 100% Helped TJPW Vancouver Events If Asked

Before AEW Dynasty on Sunday, Tokyo Joshi Pro (TJPW) held an event on Sunday morning in Vancouver.

AEW has worked with TJPW in the past, and Tony said he would’ve helped with the show if he knew it was happening and he was asked.

“Tokyo Joshi Pro did not ask for a collab. I probably would’ve been interested. I like Tokyo Joshi Pro and DDT. I believe they are owned by the same owner as NOAH, which is interesting because NOAH has different things, which is okay, but I have done good with DDT and Tokyo Joshi Pro. They are different companies. It’s fair to say I would probably do a lot more with DDT because of Kenny, Takeshita, and (Nakazawa). That’s helped me build relationships with the men and women of DDT. Tokyo Joshi Pro, I really like Miyu Yamashita. I’ve worked with her a lot and have a good relationship with her. She is tremendous. Her being in Vancouver, she was not available to wrestle for me today because she had a show at 11 in the morning. I was in my office this morning when that show started and I chuckled because I was like, ‘I would have 100% helped with the show if I knew they were doing it.’ I didn’t. There was a bunch of women I would have loved to have used,” Tony said at the AEW Dynasty post-show press conference.

NOAH has a working relationship with WWE with NXT talent competing on NOAH events and NOAH talent going on excursion to NXT.
