Tony Khan Says He’s Still Trying To Get ‘Lovin On Me’ By Jack Harlow, Has 1% Approval

Blake Christian has leaned into the Vanilla Baby branding, a nickname that came about thanks to “Lovin On Me” by Jack Harlow. The song was used in an edit put together by Blake, which blew up and became a meme in the world of wrestling.

Tony Khan previously revealed that he tried to get the rights to the song, but was turned down by Harlow or his team.

On the ROH Final Battle media call, Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp asked Tony if there was an update on talks with Harlow.

“I’m still trying. I can’t confirm that I’ll get it. The last time I addressed this, I had gotten 1% approval. I was like, ‘How does somebody have 1% rights to a song?’ Somebody with 1% gave their consent. I just need to get the other 99% and I’ll be there. If I can get the other 99% by tomorrow then I would love to play it. I would certainly give Mr. Harlow some cash for that. I should have bothered him about this when I’ve had the opportunity at times through football and different events where I’ve run into him, but I usually don’t like bothering people. Maybe, for Blake Christian, for you, and Jeremy, and the great Fightful people, maybe I should have twisted his arm and tried to get that other 99%. I’m still working on it,” said Tony.

Quit tying Blake Christian down, Jack Harlow.
