Tony Khan Says Jack Whitehall Was Instrumental In Will Ospreay Appearing On ‘Good Morning Britain’

Will Ospreay appeared on Good Morning Britain with wrestling fan and comedian Jack Whitehall.

While the majority of the segment was talking about Whitehall’s love of wrestling and Ospreay’s upcoming match at AEW All In, near the end, Whitehall was asked about his run in The Rock where Whitehall ended up with an injured back.

Whitehall quipped, “We’re not meant to talk about him because he works for the other side.”

Ospreay joked, “No, we can. Hey look, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has never main evented Wembley Stadium.”

Good Morning Britain airs on ITV, which is the British television partner of AEW. Some fans were confused as to why the hosts were asking about The Rock and not putting over AEW more.

Speaking at the All In press conference, Tony Khan commented on the appearance.

“I was so grateful to ITV for giving us the opportunity to have Will Ospreay on Good Morning Britain, and something that made it so instrumental, and he’s been here since the first AEW show, and he does it as a friend and gets nothing out of it, is Jack Whitehall being there. I thought Jack did a fantastic job with the interview and trying to keep things focused. Jack being there with Will is how we got that interview. To have them up there together was cool, and it was awesome that Jack did that. I’m grateful ITV gave us the opportunity, and any time they’ll give us a chance to be on Good Morning Britain, we’re really grateful for it,” he said.

Tony did an interview with Jack Whitehall ahead of AEW All In.
