Tony Khan Says Kyle O’Reilly ‘Probably’ Won’t Be Cleared For AEW Continental Classic

Kyle O’Reilly picked up a victory over Jon Moxley at AEW Full Gear, making Moxley tap out for the second time in ten days.
After the match, O’Reilly laid in the ring as Moxley was set to make his exit. Moxley saw an opportunity and attacked the arm of O’Reilly, which he targeted during the match. O’Reilly was helped to the back by members of the Conglomeration.
During the Full Gear press conference, AEW President Tony Khan stated that O’Reilly “probably” wasn’t going to be cleared for the Continental Classic.
Tony noted that O’Reilly wanted to be in the tournament and was looking forward to competing in the Continental Classic.
Tony said that he will announce the field early in the week. The tournament is set to begin on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite. Thus far, only Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, and Konosuke Takeshita have been announced for the tournament.
It is unknown how long Kyle O’Reilly will be sidelined. Fightful will probably more information on O’Reilly status as more is known.
