Tony Khan teases a big signing ahead of the start of the next chapter for AEW.
2021 was a year that the AEW roster added a handful of main event talents to the fold. CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole, Thunder Rosa, Christian Cage, and more all joined AEW in 2021.
However, there is always room for more as long as the value is there for the company.
Recently, Tony Khan admitted that it was time for him to become more discerning regarding the names he adds to the company. Now, he is revealing that there will be one big name coming soon to the company and it is a name that he considers to be “a dream signing.”
When asked by Josh Martinez of Z100 if he has a dream signing in North America specifically coming to the company, Tony Khan, who did not reveal when they would be coming, stated that there is someone on their way soon to AEW that he is very excited about.
“There is [a dream signing]. They are in North America and they're coming. Pretty soon. It's going to be awesome and I'm excited,” Khan teased.
Since September, Kyle O'Reilly, Bobby Fish, Adam Cole, Jay Lethal, Ruby Soho, and Bryan Danielson have all debuted in AEW.
Tomorrow’s AEW debut on TBS will feature an AEW World Title fight, a Tag Team Championship match, and the crowning of the inaugural AEW TBS Champion. You can see the full card here.
