Tony Khan Says ‘Stay Tuned’ When Asked If Zayda Steel Has Signed With AEW/ROH

The status of Zayda Steel is inquired about.

On a special Tuesday episode of ROH on HonorClub, former Dream Star Fighting Marigold wrestler Zayda Steel showed up and had an interaction with Leila Grey backstage.

Going into Ring of Honor’s Final Battle pay-per-view, AEW/ROH owner Tony Khan fielded questions on the pre-event media call. He was asked if Zayda Steel had signed with the company, and here was his response:

“Well, I think we’ll stay tuned as Zayda Steel’s doing a great job and I think she does great work. She’s come out and we saw that promo with Leila Grey. I thought that was very interesting this week on ROH… Certainly, Zayda brought some good interest and I’d be interested to see more of her in ROH for sure so, stay tuned.”

Steel was formerly a part of the WWE I.D. program and was featured on WWE EVOLVE as a member of The Vanity Project faction.

In October, Steel announced that she opted not to renew her WWE I.D. contract.
