Tony Khan States That He Initially Planned For ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm To Be In Action At AEW Dynasty

Khan speaks about Toni Storm.

There was an angle done on AEW television during which ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm was attacked. She was ruled out of in-ring competition, and Fightful Select followed up by reporting that AEW is not expecting Storm to wrestle for the remainder of the year.

Storm’s name came up during the AEW Dynasty post-show media scrum. AEW President Tony Khan was speaking about changes to the event and said he initially planned for both Storm and Kyle Fletcher to be on the card.

“Also, ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm, and I made many changes to this pay-per-view over the last few weeks. They (Storm & Kyle Fletcher) were to both been a big part of it. They’re both a huge part of AEW. Any time I can have Kyle Fletcher, The Protostar, or ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm involved in an AEW event, it’s very important. So, coming out of Revolution, I expected them each to be in matches on the show.”

On the Fletcher front, Fightful Select reported that he is suspected to have a meniscus injury. Fletcher’s injury led to a new TNT Champion being crowned at Dynasty.
