Tony Khan Still Isn't Commenting On MJF's AEW Status

Nothing has been settled when it comes to MJF.

On the June 1 episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF cut a scathing promo aimed at Tony Kahn and AEW.

MJF vented his frustrations with Khan and promotion, most notably that he had carried the company on his back and hit grand slams, but wasn't paid as much as the ex-WWE guys who have been signed. At the end of the promo, MJF begged Tony Khan to fire him and called Khan, "A fucking mark."

Since then, MJF has not been referenced on AEW TV, he's been removed from promotional material, and he's been removed from the AEW website.

On the June 8 episode of Busted Open Radio, Khan declined to comment on MJF's status.

When asked about MJF's status during the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door post-show media scrum, Tony Khan once again gave no comment.

"I am, especially after the great show we did, I'm not going to comment on it, but it's a fair question to ask. I'm not going to cover that one right now," said Khan.

This is the third "no comment" Khan has given regarding MJF as he also declined to comment on MJF's status after AEW Double or Nothing where MJF missed the fan fest and reportedly booked a flight out of Las Vegas on Saturday night. MJF still appeared at AEW Double or Nothing, losing to Wardlow, before his promo on the subsequent AEW Dynamite.
