Tony Khan: There Might Come A Day Where The Stars Of AEW And ROH Come Together For A Big Event

AEW and ROH are currently under the same management as Tony Khan owns and runs both promotions.

The crossover has already started with Samoa Joe returning to wrestling at ROH Supercard of Honor and then winning the ROH Television Title on AEW Dynamite. AEW houses many of the most famous names in ROH history including Bryan Danielson and CM Punk.

Speaking to Robbie Fox on My Mom's Basement, Khan commented about the possibility of Danielson and Punk wrestling at an ROH event.

"I would love to see them lock up at some point in AEW. In Ring of Honor, I think we'll have to wait and see. There may be a time where it would make sense for them to come, we have a lot of great stars in Ring of Honor and AEW, so I couldn't promise that. There may come a day where it would make sense for all the stars of AEW and all the stars of Ring of Honor to come together as one and have a big event. We'll see when that time is. I wouldn't count on seeing Punk and Danielson on every show. At some point, it might make sense," he said.

Both Punk and Danielson were part of the inaugural ROH Hall of Fame class in 2022.

Along with Samoa Joe winning the ROH TV Title on AEW Dynamite, Jonathan Gresham defended the ROH World Title at AEW Battle of the Belts II.

The next ROH event has yet to be announced and distribution plans are still being worked out with Tony Khan saying he's talked to WarnerMedia about finding a home for ROH.
