Tony Khan is promising more news on Friday's AEW Rampage.
AEW has signed many of the top recently released WWE superstars in past months including Keith Lee and "Swerve" Strickland. Fans have been wondering when he might sign one of the released female superstars, which has included Athena (Ember Moon), Toni Storm, and Mia Yim.
Appearing on Strong Style as part of Outlaw Nation network, Khan said he'll have more information on an upcoming women's debut on the March 25 episode of AEW Rampage.
"Yes. I'm not going to say who, but yes," he replied when asked about adding a released women's WWE talent to the AEW roster. "Without naming any specific names or spoiling anything, I will tell you yes. As for when and where, I suggest you watch Rampage tonight. As far as rhymes or spellings or anything else, I can't tell you that, but what I can tell you is I'll have more info on when and where you might see a new women's wrestling star debut in AEW, I'll give you more info on that tonight on Rampage."
