Speaking to Insider, AEW President Tony Khan was asked about the merger.

"It is fascinating. It will be interesting to see what happens in the world of sports, combat sports, and pro wrestling. I love pro wrestling, it's an amazing business. I think there are a lot of really exciting things happening with sports media rights," he said.

WWE is currently negotiating its media rights deals for WWE Raw and WWE SmackDown. Their current deals expire in 2024.

AEW is currently part of the Warner Bros. Family with AEW programming airing on TNT and TBS.

Max just announced a new live sports tier that will be part of the platform, but AEW is not currently included. You can learn more about the tier by clicking here.
