Tony Schiavone, Jim Ross, Excalibur To Be AEW On TNT Commentary Team

Big news out of Starrcast. 

At the end of the Turner Memories stage show with Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone it was announced that Ross, Schiavone, and Excalibur will be the commentary team when All Elite Wrestling debuts on TNT on Oct. 2.

The news was confirmed by Mark Madden following the stage show in a backstage segment with Scott Hudson on FITE TV. 

Schiavone officially signed with AEW on Aug. 26 to work as a commentator and senior producer. Ross and Excalibur have been working together since AEW's inaugural show Double or Nothing on  May 25. Schiavone and Ross previously worked together in WCW in the late '80s and early '90s. 

Alex Marvez was part of the original AEW broadcast team, working alongside Ross and Excalibur at Double or Nothing and Fight For The Fallen. His role moving forward is unclear after Alex "Goldenboy" Mendez said he will be on commentary for AEW All Out. Mendez previously filled in for Marvez at AEW Fyter Fest and received great reviews from fans. The commentary team for AEW All Out has not been confirmed. 

Fightful will have live coverage of AEW All Out on Aug. 31 beginning at 7 p.m. ET.
