Tony Schiavone Missed AEW Fight For The Fallen Due To Late COVID-19 Test Result

Tony Schiavone wasn't present for AEW Fight for the Fallen due to precautionary reasons.

It was explained at the start of AEW Fight for the Fallen that Schiavone's COVID-19 test result had not returned yet and out of caution, AEW made the decision to not bring him to the show. The commentary noted that Schiavone was not experiencing any symptoms.

Taz and Chris Jericho filled in on commentary for Schiavone alongside Jim Ross and Excalibur.

AEW still advertised Schiavone as appearing on the Fight for the Fallen post-show, but he was ultimately replaced by Alex Abrahantes, who joked that Schiavone was getting a root canal by Dr. Britt Baker.
