Tony Schiavone thinks his recent AEW Collision segment with CM Punk is one of his best.
On the August 29 episode of AEW Collision, CM Punk shocked fans around the world once again, as he spray painted a giant X over his version of the AEW World Championship, which he proclaims is the real world championship in the company.
Tony Schiavone was present for the segment, as he interviewed 'The Best In The World' before he spray painted the world title belt.
On the latest edition of the What Happened When podcast, Schiavone said that the segment with Punk is one of his favorite AEW segments that he's ever been involved in.
“You’re not gonna be able to beat me and CM Punk and Ricky Starks this last Saturday. That has to go down as one of my favorite ones. I really enjoyed that. I loved it, loved the whole segment. I loved that segment, and I loved that segment the week before, when we established that tag team match. But I loved the stuff I did with Britt, when we did the thing with getting our nails done. I liked all of that stuff, working with her. But I really think that that segment Saturday night was one of favorites, if not my favorite of all time, me being a part of it."
