Toxic Attraction Swerves Perez, NXT Parking Lot Strikes Again | NXT Fight Size

Here's your Fight Size update following WWE NXT on January 24, 2023:

- Jacy Jayne said she has been carrying Gigi Dolin, and she's the reason they enjoyed so much success. Meanwhile, later in the show, Dolin stated that Jayne is a bad person, and she's nothing like her. This tension set the stage for the NXT Women's Championship Summit later in the show. They kept arguing, and Roxanne Perez was convinced their title bout would be a true Triple Threat. The duo then attacked her, slammed her through a table, and raised the title together.

- Backstage, Cora Jade was asked about her loss to Lyra Valkyria. Jade said Lyra needs to learn her place, and she will happily teach her that lesson. Jade then found feathers in her locker. The broadcast then shifted outside, where Nikkita Lyons was found after an apparent attack in the parking lot. She was taken to a local medical facility.

- Andre Chase and Chase University held an Award Ceremony for Thea Hail. Chase discussed Hail's growth and gave her an award. JD McDonagh interrupted and noted that the standard has fell, as NXT is doing participation trophies now. Chase stood up for his school, and McDonagh made it clear that he was ready for a fight. Chase revealed that he was ready to go, as he was in his typical outfit under his celebratory robe, and he punched McDonagh, leading to a match between the two.

- Andre Chase delivered a valiant effort, but JD McDonagh clinched the win. In the closing moments, Duke Hudson walked to the back, leaving his status with Chase U up in the air. Hudson made up for it later in the show, as he revealed that he and Chase will compete for the right to join the tag title match at NXT Vengeance Day next week.

- The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed) were training, and Drew Gulak participated in order to get them ready for their upcoming match with Jinder Mahal and Sanga. Drew Gulak & Hank Walker took on The Creed Brothers (Brutus & Julius Creed). Walker held his own with the former NXT Tag Team Champions. Charlie Dempsey came to the ring and distracted Gulak. he Creed Brothers took advantage of the situation and hit the Brutus Ball for the win. After the match, the Creed Brothers described how Ivy Nile inspired them. Indus Sher (Veer Mahaan & Sanga) and Jinder Mahal interrupted. He said Veer and Sanga are going to take respect, and he challenged them to a tag team match. Nile accepted the challenge.

- Indi Hartwell faced Tiffany Stratton. Hartwell took the fight to Stratton, and Hartwell controlled a lot of the action. Stratton then faked an injury, and with Hartwell distracted, she lured her in and hit a moonsault for the win.

- NXT replayed footage of the fight between NXT Champion Bron Breakker and Grayson Waller. Later in the show, Waller came to the ring and stated that he proved he was tougher than everyone in NXT. He showed that he was wearing a replica title. Waller claimed that Breakker needs to win their upcoming match. Breakker came out, and the locker room struggled to keep the two enemies apart as they brawled. Waller evaded a Spear and sent Breakker crashing into the ringside barricade.

- Fallon Henley and Kiana James tried to put their differences aside in a tag team match. They teamed up to face Tatum Paxley and Ivy Nile, and the unlikely pair picked up the victory. Later in the show, Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen celebrated with Henley. Jensen revealed that Henley and James will challenge for the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship at NXT Vengeance Day. Henley said she felt blindsided, and she had to think about it. She later agreed to the match, and the broadcast team announced that it was confirmed.

- The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) were backstage, seemingly talking about Randy Orton, as they sang his "Burn in my Light" theme. They were approached by both Edris Enofe & Malik Blade and Gallus, who wanted a tag team title shot. Kingston announced the New Day Tag Team Invitational for next week, and the winner of the bout will be added to the tag title match at NXT Vengeance Day.

- Apollo Crews went to Carmelo Hayes' barber shop and discussed his recent win over Hayes. Hayes and Trick Williams showed up, and the former NXT North American Champion was clearly upset. Crews said they were the same, and they were fighting for the same spot. Hayes called himself a younger, more athletic version of himself. Crews challenged Hayes to a Two Out of Three Falls Match at NXT Vengeance Day, and Hayes accepted.

- Wendy Choo took on Elektra Lopez. At Lopez's request, Valentina Feroz watched the match, and she helped Lopez clinch the win; Feroz distracted the referee, and Lopez rocked Choo with some brass knuckles for the win. After the match, they disagreed about Lopez's methods.

- In an interview, Stevie Turner announced that she will debut next week. She said she will drag NXT kicking and screaming into the future.

- Tony D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo went to a restaurant. D'Angelo said the family couldn't be happier with the numbers. He told "Stacks" the first act is the most important act. "Stacks" said he wanted to take on the biggest guy he could find.

- Gallus (Wolfgang & Mark Coffey) discussed their looming title match at NXT Vengeance Day.

- Alba Fyre was about to challenge Kayden Carter& Katana Chance for the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship by herself. Before the bell, Sol Ruca came to ringside and made it clear that she would be teaming up with Ruca. After some initial kinks, they worked as a cohesive duo, but the champions ultimately emerged victorious. Fyre was clearly frustrated with Ruca after the match. Isla Dawn came out at the end of the match, and she walked to the back with Fyre.

- NXT North American Champion Wes Lee met with Dijak, who said it was his last chance to hand over the title. Lee refused to give the title up, and he admitted that might be a stupid decision, but his past mistakes have made him who he is today. He told Dijak he'd see him at NXT Vengeance Day.

- Tiffany Stratton discussed her win in a NXT Digital Exclusive; she made it clear that she was planning to celebrate.
