There was conversation surrounding promoter Arik Cannon, Avery Styles, and A.J. Styles that derives from Cannon publicly sharing that Avery did not help set up the ring and chairs at a Game Changer Wrestling show.

AEW’s Trent Beretta took to X to share a story of him being asked to help with the ring crew.

“One time somebody asked me to help with ring crew. I stared them in the eyes and pissed my own pants right there on the spot to teach them a lesson.”
