Trey Miguel Says He’ll Undergo Hernia Surgery After TNA Slammiversary
Trey Miguel announced on social media that he will undergo hernia surgery after TNA Slammiversary.
Miguel wrote, “After Slammiversary I will undergo hernia surgery. I was given a choice and I chose to be there. I will give it my absolute best because that’s what TNA Wrestling deserves and you the fans. A full recovery is expected as this is a minor surgery. Thank you all for the well wishes and messages. Apologies to anyone I missed and didn’t get to reply to.”
TNA Wrestling announced that Miguel was sidelined with a hernia injury on the July 3rd episode of TNA iMPACT!
Miguel is slated to team with Zachary Wentz in a four-way ladder match for the TNA Tag Team Titles at TNA Slammiversary. They will compete about reigning champions The Nemeths (Nic Nemeth & Ryan Nemeth), the Hardy Boys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy), and First Class (KC Navarro & AJ Francis).
TNA Slammiversary takes place on Sunday, July 20.
Miguel is set to compete on the July 10th episode of TNA iMPACT, teaming with Wentz and The Hardy Boys against The Nemeths & First Class. The bout was taped on June 21st.
