Dominik Mysterio has become the latest trick to be whooped by Trick Williams, who is now the new NXT North American Champion.
Williams defeated Mysterio at NXT No Mercy, with Dragon Lee as the special guest referee. However, this match saw multiple referee bumps, and Williams was almost robbed of his championship victory. Still, he was able to have the wherewithal to hit Mysterio with a jumping knee, slamming the North American Championship into the former champion's face, and Lee was able to recover to count the winning pinfall.
Mysterio was champion for 74 days after defeating Wes Lee on July 18.

Unfortunately, Dom Dom lost the championship without "Mami" Rhea Ripley at ringside. This means he may have to feel her wrath when she returns.
