Trick Williams: Everybody Loves John Cena. I’m Glad He’s Back To Host WrestleMania
John Cena will return to WWE at WrestleMania 42 as the host of the event. Cena made the announcement on Monday, marking his first appearance since his retirement match against Gunther on December 13.
Speaking on Unsportsmanlike with Evan Cohen, Chris Canty and Michelle Smallmon, Trick Williams was asked about Cena hosting the event.
“I guess retirement is hard, sometimes. We’re glad that he’s going to be back. We know that everybody loves John Cena. I’m glad he’s back. We’re going to have a good time. It means a lot to us,” he said.
Though John Cena retired from in-ring competition, he has remained with the company in an ambassador role.
Trick is set for a major match at WrestleMania as he will challenge Sami Zayn for the WWE United State Championship.
WrestleMania 42 takes place on April 18 and April 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
