Trick Williams: Lil Yachty Is Not In WWE To Be No Part-Timer Or Just Pop In For WrestleMania
The on-screen partnership between Trick Williams and Lil Yachty.
Night two of WWE WrestleMania 42 on April 19th will feature a United States Championship match. Trick Williams will be challenging Sami Zayn for the belt.
On the lead-up to the match, rapper, producer, and songwriter Lil Yachty got involved and is now featured alongside Williams. During an interview with Carl Lamarre of Billboard, Williams stated that Yachty is not around to be a part-timer or just to jump in the mix for WrestleMania.
“Can’t lie, working with Yachty has been dope, man. He loves the business. He’s not here to be no part-timer or just pop in for WrestleMania, he wants to be here for (even the smaller markets like) Delaware or Baton Rouge. He wants to hit the cities because he loves the game. It’s funny seeing him before we went out on (SmackDown). You can tell he was getting in his state. He said, ‘Man, I don’t even get nervous for no concert no more, but I feel something for this.’ That’s special.”
Sami Zayn delivered a Helluva Kick to Yachty on the 4/10 Friday Night SmackDown.
