Trick Williams says Joe Hendry took his spot at WrestleMania 41.

At WrestleMania 41, Randy Orton would host an open challenge at the event following Kevin Owens’ stepping away due to a neck injury. At the event, Joe Hendry, along with the TNA World Title would answer the open challenge, losing to a quick RKO before taking a second after the final bell.

While speaking to Going Ringside in a new interview, Trick was asked about Joe Hendry’s moment at WrestleMania 41.

“I mean good for him but I’m gonna tell you what’s real. That was my spot he took.”

When asked if he felt like he’d have lasted longer with Orton, Trick explained that he and Randy are ‘elite specimens’.

“No because here’s the thing. Me and Randy got a lot more in common. We’re elite specimens. I mean we look good. We look like money. Joe Hendry is a believer. He ain’t no doer, he just believes he can do it. There’s a big difference between the two. So when you put Joe Hendry in a big moment like that against Randy Orton, that’s what’s gonna happen. Put Trick Williams in that same moment. Watch two stallions go at it, two lions, two alpha males. Let’s talk about it.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Trick spoke about possibly working with Roman Reigns. You can read more about that here.
