Trick Williams talks Oba Femi.

Since Oba Femi became the NXT Champion back at NXT New Years Evil in a triple threat match that featured defending champion Trick and Eddy Thorpe, he has ruled over NXT with an iron fist and eight months later, he remains champion.

While speaking to Going Ringside in a new interview, Trick was asked about the triple threat title loss to Femi, with Trick being irritated by his title shots taking place in triple threat matches.

“Yeah, I mean, I’m not sure that’s my best foot I put forward. I mean, we had a little distraction with Eddie Thorpe, so it was a triple threat. Oba, he is the ruler, man. Like I said, I’m gonna call it like it is, Oba is the man. He’s the top guy and people love him, that’s for a reason. But he didn’t get the best version of Trick Williams. He didn’t get one on one Trick Williams. We had an annoyance as the third guy in that match. Let’s see Oba Femi with Trick Williams one on one.”

Earlier this month, Trick and Oba would feature in a war of words over who runs NXT.
