Trick Williams believes in Joe Hendry.
TNA star Joe Hendry was revealed as Trick Williams' mystery partner on the July 9 episode of WWE NXT, and they defeated Sawn Spears and NXT Champion Ethan Page. Hendry pinned Spears to clinch the victory.
On Twitter/X, WWE then shared a clip of Williams and Hendry briefly commenting on their win backstage.
Trick Williams: It felt good to get a little payback on Spears and Ethan Page today. But trust and believe, I will not rest until I get my NXT Championship back. Shout-out to Joe Hendry. All I had to do was say his name.
Joe Hendry: Hey, you really whooped that trick.
TW: I appreciate that. Show me show love.
They then awkwardly showed respect, with Williams going for a fist bump and Hendry giving him a high five, and vice versa. They settled on a brief hug.
