WWE has had to make plenty of changes over the past few weeks with the coronavirus pandemic. But the biggest change came in moving WrestleMania from a football stadium to the WWE Performance Center and other off-site locations.
WWE is set to host a Firefly Fun House match and Boneyard match at WrestleMania 36, taking those two bouts out of the ring and into the unknown. And whenever things in the world go back to "normal," Triple H thinks the product will be better for it.
"People keep saying "once everything gets back to normal" ? I don't think that's going to happen. I think the world has changed. I think that it will get back to some normalcy, but the new normal will be what is normal. It's not going to be what it was before. How people do business, how people interact with each other... I think all of that will change. And for us, in some ways, the opportunity of doing these shows without fans and doing WrestleMania [with] these off-site shoots will open our eyes to different ways of doing things that we maybe didn't see before and will change the product probably for the better in the long run," he told TV Guide.
Triple H singled out the Firefly Fun House match, saying, "it will be different from anything we've ever done in the WWE."
On Friday's WWE SmackDown, Cena officially accepted Wyatt's proposal for a Firefly Fun House match at WrestleMania 36.
