Triple H Believes The Sky Is The Limit For Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre announced himself for the Men's WWE Royal Rumble this past Monday on Raw and has been adamant that he should be WWE Champion. McIntyre has never had a one-on-one match for the WWE Championship and has been sure to point that out multiple times.

Fans have been behind McIntyre since he joined NXT in 2017 after building up his name on the Independent scene. Since being called up to Raw, he's run hot and cold with feuds against Dolph Ziggler, Roman Reigns, Cedric Alexander, and others.

With McIntyre entering the Royal Rumble, people are wondering if WWE will now pull the trigger on that WWE Championship bout.

"I think it's a possibility. Drew has had an incredible run, started off at such a young age, and he's still so young now and he's kind of just coming into his own now as a performer, really. I told him that the sky is the limit for him. He left for a while, he had to go clear himself out and realise what he wanted, and step away and come back even better. He's an incredibly hard worker and he's as serious as serious can be. He wants to be the best in the world and, when you have that type of attitude and that strong work ethic, absolutely, it's a possibility," Triple H told Sportskeeda.

McIntyre is a former NXT Champion, but there has never been a Scottish WWE Champion.
